Our Law
Legato Maritime testified in Olympia in support of House Bill 1167, which was signed into law by Washington Governor Bon Ferguson May of 2025. The bill amends existing state-based career and technical education for youth by establishing a maritime career task force.
HB 1167 is a Modification of the K12 career and technical education curriculum to add a “maritime trades instruction back into the K12 education system”
We are backed by Washington State Ferries in support of the new task force.

Washington State residents
Have NOT USED ANY illegal drugs (INCLUDING CANNABIS) within the last 45-60 days
